INTERNATIONAL HOTELS


Independent hotel offering high levels of comfort and service, situated within easy reach of Jct 25 of the m1. We offer a warm, friendly atmosphere with the emphasis on service to our guests. Situated within easy reach of Junction 25 of the m1 in the heart of middle England, the International makes an ideal base from which to explore the area. Visit such attractions as the Peak District National Park, the Stately Homes of Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and the house that time forgot at Calke Abbey. For an exciting day out with the family, why not visit Alton Towers. Motoring enthusiasts will appreciate a visit to Donington Park, which boasts the largest collection of racing cars in the country. We offer special facilities for families i.e. bunk beds, high chairs, cots, special meals and a baby listening service. The accommodation is located in three buildings: West Lodge, East Lodge and main building. Some parking is available for the lodges at the front of the hotel, or alternatively parking is available on the hill near the entrance.

Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Thyme Restaurant and Bar provides comfortable seating in a relaxing environment for guests. Chefs use only the finest and freshest ingredients to prepare a choice of mouth-watering dishes. In the bar, unwind and relax with a drink from the extensive beverage list, or enjoy a light snack from the bar menu, which is available throughout the day. The bar area is equipped with a widescreen plasma TV, showing all sport and a wide selection of satellite channels. The bar area also has free Wi-Fi for all guests.
